Course Overview

This course is tailored for aspiring photographers who wish to learn professional photography from the ground up. It covers in-depth knowledge of cameras, lighting, accessories, and advanced techniques required to shoot portraits, products, fashion and food among others. By the end of this course, students will have a robust command over photography and lighting techniques, enabling them to bring their creative visions to life.

Additionally, this course lays a strong foundation to explore specialized genres of photography, including events, automobile, interior, architecture, and wildlife.

  • Master camera settings including functions, modes, and other detailed menu operations.
  • Operate flash, studio flash, and triggers in various modes.
  • Capture professional-level model, portrait, product, and food photography with creative lighting techniques.
  • Learn to shoot effectively in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Get hands-on experience with photo editing software and tools.
  • Receive career guidance and access to paid internships.

  2. Camera Mastery: Understand camera parts, functions, menus, and settings in detail.
  3. Camera Modes: Learn Auto, Manual, Program, AV, TV, FV, C1, C2, and C3 modes.
  4. Camera Generations & Formats: Dive into different generations and formats of cameras.
  5. Lens Know-How: Explore lens types, focal lengths, aperture, focusing modes, IS/VR, IBIS, and zoom capabilities.
  6. Sensor Types: Understand CMOS, CCD, BSI, stacked CMOS, and their sizes (large, medium, full-frame, APS-C, micro four-thirds).
  7. File Formats: Get familiar with JPEG, RAW, PSD, TIFF, PNG, and their use cases.
  8. Exposure Triangle: Grasp aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, along with advanced stop calculations.
  9. Studio Lighting & Flash: Operate studio flashes, continuous lights, triggers, and their modes.
  10. Metering & Light Measurement: Explore metering types and light meter usage.
  11. White Balance & Dynamic Range: Master white balance settings and dynamic range adjustments.
  12. Professional Filters: Work with UV, polarizing, ND, color, infrared, and light pollution filters.
