Mastering Light and Lighting in Photography

Course Overview

Capturing exceptional photographs requires blending art and science. While the “art” component has more to do with experience behind the lens and imaginative forte in seeing a photograph in any scene or setting, the “science” component is much more about light and its properties. In this course, we aim to develop an in-depth understanding of light and its attributes that help driving excellence in photography. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of light properties, manipulation techniques, and creative applications to achieve artistic and technical outcomes. The course is suited for any photographer aiming to upskill their photography acumen by mastering the cornerstone of photography—lighting.
